I'd like an article ID# automatically generated for each article. Goal: I'd like to be able to throw an article reference to a team member as easily as possible - from my ServiceNow days, I could do this by just typing out "KB0012345" - no link copying, hyperlinking, deciphering an article title (that might regularly change) - and they can just paste or type that in the search and it auto-opens that page. Heck, I could tell them "Hudu article one two three four five" across the cubicle and it'd get the to the correct page 100% of the time. Can be whatever format you want - for better flexibility, maybe have it default to only a # (of any digits, set by the company, like 4 minimum to 12 maximum digits) >> THEN, add the ability to set custom prefixes (universal, per company, folder and for uncategorized) - maybe one universally for all docs, so in my company mine start with KB, so every doc is a KB doc. And then I create a custom one in my Global "Operations" folder to be OP, so a doc in there is KBOP00123 - and each company can have it's own prefix, so for my client ABC Learning their docs can be ABC, so the ID is KBABC00123 (and for those that want it, have a checkbox to "add space" and/or "add dash" after prefix, so it can be KB OP00123, or KB-OP 00123, or KBOP-00123, or whatever I like best) And of course omitting things should possible, so maybe I don't want a global one but just individual prefixes. Maybe I want a specific folder to opt out of the global prefix, so all companies and other folders (not opted out) get one but this folder has its own special one.
