Option for top toolbar in new KB article editor
With the new KB article editor, it would be nice to have some way to revert to having the toolbar at the top, similar to the old editor.
Track SPF/DMARC/DKIM activity in website version history
Currently, changes to SPF, DMARC, and DKIM records are not captured in the version history for websites. Reasoning: some third parties manage domains for our customers, and mistakes sometimes happen during record transfers, resulting in records being deleted. Having the ability to see past records when changes occur would help identify what was lost or changed and when.
Markdown Text Editor
Add a markdown editor option so users can write and edit content in markdown instead of pasting/importing/export with the current text editor.

UniFi OS - Add optional description for API key
With the current credentials implementation, it's difficult to tell multiple sets of credentials apart. Please add an optional name or description field to each set so users can easily identify what each key is for.
Include Photos and Attachments in Backups
In addition to additional backup destinations aside from S3 it would also be beneficial to include attachments and photos in the backups.
Checkboxes in Processes to include an X or (Didn't Do) option
This may seem like a silly/simple thing, but it would be great to have two options when checking a box in a Process Run. The green tick to indicate that the task or subtask is completed, and a red X to indicate that the task or subtask is acknowledged but not completed. This would saves us having Process Runs stuck at 20 - 50 - 80% indicated incomplete Processes because the person completing the Run has an edge case where a specific Task or Subtask cannot be confirmed done. A green tick always indicates that task was done, which isn't how things always work. I appreciate that there's a "note" section under the Task, but that isn't as intuitive as a simple X. And I appreciate that Tasks could be worded around it, but that isn't a great solution either. If you agree, this might be a very simple and useful addition?
Full Hudu Tenant Backup - More options like direct export locally
Hi, Could we get backup options other than just S3 buckets? Export locally to a ZIP or SMB share? I know ITGlue had local export options. Thank you!
Preview KB article in both light and dark mode when editing
It would be great if you could add a light/dark mode switch when editing KBs so that you can easily check how the colors look on both before publishing. Otherwise you have to keep 2 windows open - one for each mode
Add a countdown timer or progress bar for OTP code expiration
It would be helpful to have a countdown timer or progress bar indicating how long remains before an OTP code refreshes. Ideally this would be visible whether the code is revealed or masked, though support for either state alone would still be valuable. The goal is to gauge remaining validity without needing to view the actual digits.
Request password in revision history
The password requests show in the activity logs but not in the revision history. We would like this in both areas.

KB Article or Rich Text Version History Comparison - HTML Toggle
When viewing the Compare Differences tab for a KB article's version history, it displays the raw HTML for the article, and highlights the changes within the HTML only. While this can be helpful, especially for changes to formatting that might not be immediately apparent, it would be nice to have a toggle for viewing the highlighted changes to the article as it appears when viewed normally. This would be easier to parse in most situations.
Send emails via Workflow
We would to see the ability to create a workflow that sends an email upon the creation of an asset.
Bulk Uploads
Similar to IT Glue's bulk document import feature, I'd like to be able to upload a zip file containing a directory structure of .md files that create/replace an existing structure of knowledge base articles. Bonus points if internal asset references (images especially, but also documents of other types) are resolved correctly to inline images, attachments, etc. and appropriately added to the document.
separate permission to allow use of send secure note
Please make a separate permission that would allow a group to use the feature of send secure note without enabling the ability to share passwords from within the password manager
Allow agreement signing via Hudu secure links
End users have requested the ability to sign agreements directly from a Hudu secure link. We would like to see this in Hudu. Currently, secure links are used to share sensitive information with external parties or request password information to be filled out, but there is no way to collect a signature or acknowledgment from the recipient within that same flow. Adding signature support to secure links would allow MSPs to send agreements, SOWs, acceptable use policies, or similar documents and collect a signed response without requiring a third-party e-signature tool.
Customizable Company Hierarchy (Company → Location → Building → Tenant)
Some clients need more than one level of division. We'd like to optionally add custom sub-levels within a company, similar to ConnectWise's corporate and site structure. Use cases Clients with multiple locations, each with multiple buildings and separate networks. Multi-tenant office buildings where the building provides network support to its tenants. Other structures MSPs may need, such as floors, campuses, or departments. Proposed behavior Companies start with one default level. Nothing changes unless we add sub-levels. We can add and name levels, for example Company → Location → Building → Tenant. Credentials, assets, KB articles, and procedures can be assigned to any level. Viewing a level shows its items plus everything above it. Unrelated branches are hidden. For example, Building 1 shows company, Location A, and Building 1 items only. Search respects the selected level, with an option to search the whole company. Compatibility Existing data stays at the company level, and the feature is opt-in. It should apply across integrations and extensions such as the browser extension and ScreenConnect. Why it matters Techs can quickly find what applies to the exact site they're working on, without cluttering one company or duplicating data across several.
Request for Hudu MCP "read only" mode
MCP is a wonderful addition to Hudu. However, as implemented today, MCP allows writes back into the Hudu instance, which is very concerning. My ticket system's MCP implementation allows for exposing MCP as "read only", which makes me feel a lot better/safer about having AI integration. With Hudu MCP, there appears to be no "read only" mode which is what I'd like to have.
Multi-MSP Hierarchy Management
We currently manage two separate IT businesses/MSPs within Hudu, and keeping data, workflows, and branding separated can be challenging. I would like to see support for an MSP hierarchy, where a parent company can have one or more subsidiary MSPs underneath it. To be clear, I'm not referring to customers or client organizations, but to multiple MSP businesses that operate under the same group structure. This functionality would allow MSP groups to: Maintain separation between subsidiary MSPs. Apply company-specific branding and settings. Segment technicians, documentation, and assets where required. Retain centralized visibility and management at the parent company level. This would be especially useful for MSPs that have grown through acquisitions or operate multiple business entities within the same Hudu instance.
