Toggle Output Fields for Asset Templates

I would love to see the ability to have multiple Asset templates be able to be bundled under a selection tool. Since no client is identical, we should have the ability to change a template on the fly by certain options. Let me explain further by providing an example below.
VPN setups and different types.
A client has am IPSec VPN between a few site setup and we need to document via an Asset template. We should have a field that we can select that pulls the custom Assess Template in with the options for the IPSec.
If the client has an OpenVPN setup, same thing, select the field and it changes the custom asset to match under one main Asset, VPN.
This method would alleviate from having 10 different VPN options showing empty on the home screen.
