Show PDFs on assets the way Knowledge Base does

When you upload a PDF as a Knowledge Base article, it opens in the main pane right away. On an asset, that same PDF only shows in the Files list on the right, and you have to click it to preview.

For things like licenses and contracts, the asset fields are useful, but the PDF is what you actually need to see. It would help if an asset could display that PDF in the center of the page, the same way KB PDF articles do. Extra files can stay in the sidebar.
