Separate Alerts for Specific Asset Types and Companies
The ability to create different alerts for separate companies and asset types would be incredibly powerful.
For example, a contact expiration alert being distinct from a backup verification alert. On top of that, being able to have both of those assets alert differently for separate companies. Right now, all those assets and more are treated as one when creating an alert.
The attached image shows how this could work. When "Alert for only Asset Expiration" is selected, drop down menus could appear for "Asset Type" and "Company." Then you could either leave them set to all, or choose something specific.
Our use case would be to utilize webhooks to generate Zendesk tickets specific to the asset and company automatically. This would allow us to automate the process of creating different kinds of tickets and save us a lot of time.

To also further this, if a user is a member of a group that only has access to specific companies, that user should only receive alerts for those companies to which he/she has access.

I agree that this would be perfect if we could choose a specific asset such as the RFC to generate a ticket in CW when a RFC was created or changed.

This is definitely a must for us in our department as there are assets we want to track expiry on but not on all of them so it would be great to see this added.

yes, this please. and if not this specific thing then the ability to have hudu in the sidebar of your zendesk to quickly link a ticket to an asset to get quick information, like last reboot time etc.

I agree with Brandon's comment. Currently I have to have all alerts go to me and then I have to forward them to the correct groups.

+1 Would love to see more granularity on what we get alerts for.

It would be great to have this feature implemented. In particular, alerts for warranties linked to specific companies would be very useful.
Ideally, certain warranty alerts could be directed to specific teams rather than being sent to all users, ensuring the relevant teams are notified and can take the appropriate action

To further this inject the ticket into CW instead of email, and have it go into the account for the company as opposed to just a general queue.
