I have the need to share credentials to a user and save the history of when a user viewed it. We have no need to use or save the password ourselves long term.
Secure Notes are good, but, when viewed or expired, there is no easy to see history or if it was viewed, and you need to recreate to resent.
I would be interested in:
- Possibly make Secure Notes more like a simple text repository and be able to share at will, but revisit/review past notes, or, have a "keep/save" checkbox.
However, even better: - On credentials, have a flag "Exclude from search" and then they can be excluded in the default view, or possibly when we get password folders, the ability to exclude a folder from default search.
This should mean that I can create a user called x, create a linked password for them and share it with the user. I can then see the password asset at any time (They would have changed by then) and see that the user viewed it in the audit history - but, this password won't get in my way or visible when looking at the company passwords.
