Screen capture - record click location without actually clicking the link

It would be helpful to have a way to record clicking a button or link during a screen capture, capturing all relevant details, without actually executing the action.

Some elements are single-use and become obsolete or change state after a click, so the actual selection needs to be reserved for other users who will follow the documented process.
