We have a lot of standards for how specific devices / services are configured. For example - ensuring that management settings on our customer firewalls are configured correctly and to our specifications.
It would be nice if there was a capability to automatically tie a specific process to (at least) a specific asset type. Even better, though, if it could only be applied based on a field on the asset such as manufacturer/model.
This ensures that any asset of that type gets the process attached to it, and the process documents that we did in fact configure it to our standard.
Currently, processes are more geared towards broad things like "add a user" and "terminations" - we would benefit hugely if processes could also be more asset centric.
