I agree, this is a very important feature that should be implemented. I have many .docx files that need to be transferred to Hudu. It's insanely time consuming having to either download / reupload files to edit them, or to copy/paste files and go through the manual process of reformatting them into something readable.

This is super important, and in fact I raised this today with support. Having to download > edit > re-upload a document is time-consuming. ITPortal and ITGlue both have this integration in place, and it makes it super simple to review and edit documents via the portal.

How about just real functional tables similar to Atlassian Confluence… I swear, anyone who isn't attempting to mimic their documentation tool is wasting their time trying to re-invent perfection.

We migrated from ITGlue and the inability to edit Office documents like Word and Excel natively is the most limiting feature. Everything else is great but having to edit and reupload or link to client SP sites is annoying - this would be a great enhancement

As others have said, ITPortal and ITGlue both have the ability to open and edit word documents within the portal, and also index's the file to be able to do searches. As a document mgmt system, this should be a core feature.
Is this functionality on the roadmap, is it possible to get an update, ETA on this feature?

This is definitely needed. Hudu cannot truly be your one stop shop for documentation if you have to use another system to host these other document types.
