I've written some relatively complex process documents in Hudu and find the page index on the right-hand side of a knowledgebase article to be a useful way of navigating through to the pertinent section. However, it only seems to draw from header tags which do not co-exist well with ordered lists. I use a lot of ordered lists.
I'd like some way of imbedding the equivalent reference for the index into the text (link an anchor tag) without using the header tags so that the user can jump to the appropriate section of the document quickly without the formatting looking weird due to the vaguaries of browser layout engines.
Sample HTML code is below; I want to have "Finishing Up" appear in the index and act as an anchor, but I don't need it to appear as a header:
