Last Update (date/tech) & Created (date/tech)

Would it be terrible to have more visibility on "create date", "last updated date" and person performing said actions. Often it is nice to be able to glance, and see you are on a stale doc… without looking at an audit trail.
I would like it to be visible on a KB/asset without viewing the audit trail.
