The Hudu Team: Thanks for considering this. This is a very important feature for us, as well as some of the others that have commented. I'm happy to help advise or review whatever design you propose, and/or beta test.

Ability to create an asset layout showing full subnet, with ability to assign each IP to an asset would be amazing! We have to resort to using other methods for this type of documentation.

Please take inspiration from phpIPAM which we are currently using! :) Ability to mark networks as private/overlapping (e.g. multiple clients with 10.0.0.x/24 that exist just within their company… but, also a global IPAM with the ability to mark subnets as owned by a client … So for example, Our DC network has a big range - I would love to have the global ability to see everything and then click on a subnet within which is "owned" by an individual client.

Any News regarding this Feature? Right now I have to maintain the IP's VLAN's of all Clients in GestioIP aside of Hudu…

This would be fantastic, particularly with some sort of global IP address report as well. First step is probably having IP Address and Subnet field types - having these just as text field is never good, as there's no validation and sorting doesn't work properly.

It would be nice to have the Description field added as a column to the list
Sorry to comment again, but, I'm doing some documentation where multiple ideas I've read across here could really help me, and, it got me thinking that they may be interesting for this feature amongst others. I'm talking about my idea for table view https://hudu.canny.io/feature-requests/p/spreadsheettable-view , and Richard A's idea here - https://hudu.canny.io/feature-requests/p/repeating-fields-in-assets Not entirely sure if the plan is going to be for IPAM "light" or full on network documentation. In either case, say you create a /24, it would be great if rather than create 256 blank text fields, you have a hidden asset or just a group of fields called "IP Range" (or similar) which as per Richard's idea, has "IP", "Name" and a few other options. The IPAM can be configured that upon creating a /24, it should implement the selected object up to a maximum of 256 times. Because the group of fields (or hidden asset) would contain standard fields, we could have related item links and more which would just make this VERY powerful. Combined with my table view idea (I just really want it!), it could be awesome!
