In our environment, everyone contributes to documentation, but only certain roles (such as L3 technicians) are responsible for reviewing and verifying content.
Currently, all users see every flagged document in listings, which leads to unnecessary clutter and makes it harder for users to focus on the items that actually matter to them.
We would like Hudu to introduce intelligent, role-aware default filtering for flags — not as a strict visibility restriction, but as a way to automatically present the most relevant data to each user by default.
Desired functionality
• Each user or role would have default visibility preferences for flag types.For example:
• L1/L2 users automatically see flags like In Progress or Needs Review (Own).• L3 or reviewer roles see Ready for Review, Verification Needed, and other review-related flags.• Users can still manually remove or adjust filters to view all items if they wish — nothing is hidden permanently.• Flags like Up-to-Date or Verified could be hidden by default in listings, since they don’t require any action until they expire or change status.• Optionally, these preferences could be saved per user, so each person’s view automatically loads the filters most relevant to their role and workflow.Benefits
