It would be great to have a field type that increases incrementally or based on a user-defined formula for each new asset created under a specific asset layout.
Alternatively, formulas could be applicable to any field type by incorporating a specific syntax. For example, a text field could allow user input for part of the field, with another part using {n} to represent an incremental value.
