Hyperlinked Text for the URL (link) function in custom assets (field)

Currently, when sharing URLs publicly in Hudu, there is no option to "shorten the link" and display it as hyperlinked text.

Feature Request:

Allow users to set custom hyperlinked text for URLs in the HUDU GUI to improve readability.

Use case:

This would enhance usability by making links cleaner and more user-friendly and above all (with long links) more clean in the interface because nobody wants to know the full link, they want to go there!

    This is for "website / URL" fields. You can add a textfield and then make an hyperlink but that is just mhah….

    So just add something link "text display for hyperlink" as an additional field for the URL field and it is done. That will make, especially with longer URL's, much beter readable in the HUDU gui then the full URL instead of making a textfield with hyperlink etc. etc.

    Does make sense, not?

    You can use something like Cloudflare URL redirection for the short URLs, but for regular links this was discussed previously. Assets, articles etc used to just be some-of-the-text-uniqueValueHere and never changed.

    I thought Hudu Support had stated they wished to implement functionality like Confluence, where the unique value is used and the text doesn't matter, redirecting to the appropriate page and newly-copied links have the updated text.

    This fixed an issue where first creation titles looked very unprofessional at times, or became misleading over time as content was updated.

    I vote for the above system to be planned for implementation as the deployed solution was simply to remove the some-of-the-text part of all new links. This increases clarity when sharing links.
