Hudu update available notification
I was told that there would be a patch at the weekend, I was waiting for a blog post or something to say as such but nothing happened.
Being curious and not wanting to chase, I did an update anyway and lo and behold, it worked.
A good feature request I think would be: under Admin > Self hosting centre, have an update checker (similar to on Screen Connect) that alerts you, or, in a similar way, have the version number turn red under the user icon. (or both!)
… If this goes against being self hosted/sending information back (all be it extremely limited), maybe it should just be a nightly task, or, perhaps a manual "Check for updates button".
Also, not worth a separate idea, but, if it doesn't cause too much admin work, I would love to see release or change notes so I don't miss anything!

We can now find if the app needs an update from our profile icon. However, on minor updates like .1, I cannot find any release notes. It would be nice to have release notes for these minor updates.

I made a suggestion about possibly having the version number in red or similar when you look at the menu, but, can't quickly find the link… As an interim measure, I saw (I think from a link here) that you can use this service - https://docker-notify.com/ - I only found out about it a few weeks ago, and, it alerted me within an hour that there was an update for Hudu, so, it seems to work pretty well.

As a work around you can check https://hub.docker.com/r/hududocker/hudu to see the last updated time. You can use something like https://docker-notify.com/ to email you when a new update is published.

I like this idea. The ability to have hudu be aware of new versions of hudu and send a webhook that there was a Hudu update available would be useful.
