I woud like to be able to hide fields in assets layouts. This would useful in cases where you want to keep the data in that field, but where you want to prevent new entries.
A use case would be, that you have added a list field to replace the existing dropdown field. The dropdown field cannot be deleted because it contains data but should be hidden.
