Feature-Rich Tables in Knowledge Base

It would be incredibly helpful to enhance the table functionality in Hudu's knowledge base editor. This includes:

Color-coded rows and cells

Column sorting

Cell merging

Support for inline images or icons

Better HTML/CSS support for custom styling

These improvements would make documentation more visually organized and easier to digest for our asset documentation at the company.

Yet… somehow… you cannot modify text styling inside a table?!?!?

Guys… c'mon. Two steps forward, eight steps back… once again, I need to modify HTML code in order to achieve my goals.

    Stop implementing half-baked features.

Also also… cell merging was skipped?

Where's my formatting toolbar? Can you guys seriously do any worse here?

Alex N.: Hi Alex, you can modify text styles within tables by highlighting text and using the floating toolbar just above the words. To merge table cells, highlight the cells and click the purple handle to the right. Highlight a whole row or click the handle to the left of it when hovering to show the row actions menu (merge, move, sort, etc).

We understand that this new block based editor can be a big adjustment. Overall, it is a much more powerful editor and I hope you'll give it a chance to win you over with time.

It would be great if the first row could be pinned so that the column headers remain visible when scrolling.

Also improved paste functionality when adding existing data to tables or data between tables.
