External Portal Asset Layouts
In Hudu, the internal asset layout and the external client portal are designed differently, which can result in discrepancies in how asset information is displayed. Internally, asset layouts can be customized to show multiple columns of data, providing a comprehensive view of each asset. However, the external portal, by default, displays assets in a more simplified manner, often showing only the name field.
To enhance the information visible to clients through the external portal, if you can could customize the portal and configure the specific data shared.
This customization should be done within each client space, allowing you to tailor the external portal to display additional asset details as needed.
By adjusting these settings, you can provide your clients with a more detailed view of their assets, aligning the external portal's display more closely with your internal asset layout.

The client portal needs a lot of TLC. My customers complain frequently acout the lack of functionality and navigation.

The Portal list view for Computer Assets (inventory) is unusable for our clients. Please add columns.

I'm surprised that this isn't already available. The name of an asset is not always very helpful. Having other Meta data available to share with the customer is extremely helpful and seems like would already be a standard feature.

I wish this was a thing! Sometimes our customers want to audit their own inventory, what they're getting charged for, and having to click on each asset to review information about each one doesn't cut it!

I agree with this totally. We need to work smarter not harder. Here are some additional examples.
Display and create a view of all tags "admin". Do the reverse with a NOT statement as well. Display and create a view with tags that are NOT "admin".
Display and create a view of all notes fields that have "Created by Quickpass".
Display and create a view that the pwned field =1.
Display and create a view of Portal is not checked. Then provide a way to bulk edit and make it so.
Allow us ways to get to the information quickly instead of paging through 5-10 pages of data when we only need to see 1 page.

welcome to Hudu, we have been complaining about this issue since 2020. the customer facing portal is weak at best.
