The Screen Capture feature is an amazing tool for creating Knowledge Base articles and documenting processes. However, its current workflow is heavily focused on creating new KB articles. Expanding its output and integration capabilities would make it significantly more valuable in day-to-day operations.
For us the most widely usable option would be an export or copy-to-clickboard.
Provide a one-click option to copy the generated guide as Markdown, HTML, plain text, pdf(?)... This would allow users to quickly paste the content into:
Existing KB articles
Ticketing systems (e.g. NinjaOne)
Emails
As we see it that would open up the tool to become more than just a KB tool. It can also become a powerful troubleshooting tool. Technicians could record the exact troubleshooting steps they performed and then:
Attach the issue recreation steps to a ticket
Add it to incident reports
Show the taken troubleshooting steps when escalating a ticket
Share it internally for review
This would create better issue logs and provide clear visibility into the actions taken during troubleshooting. It would help when escalating tickets so higher lvl engineers can read into a ticket of issue faster.
