Editor Improvements
There are numerous quirks and improvements needed on the editor, including:
Quirks:
No ability to insert Style tag to define CSS just for the article
Table strangeness including table & column spacing strangeness (table width 100.58%, or something similar, column width 49.78%), suddenly adding height to rows, etc.
Default of links to open in the current window vs a new window/tab
Improvements:
Right-click functionality for better editing of elements
Viewing source code at cursor location (trying to find & edit source code to fix issues is arduous when you have to hunt through a long page's code to find what you are looking for)
Defining of additional CSS classes for the document
Find/replace in source code view
Advanced page builder functionality to really allow us to craft content the way we want including things like accordion elements (expand/contract content when clicked), drag & drop elements, additional widgets, WYSIWYG editing, etc.

I agree with several, but do you really need custom CSS for many locations? You can add custom CSS to your Hudu instance and then target those class names at any point (I do this).
What I would really love is:
Stop adding random formatting directly to tables HTML, as stated. It's hell cleaning that up so I can use CSS to style properly. Other tags too, don't need or want it.
The editor freaks out when you have some nested HTML tags, so in many cases with imported HTML I can't actually format text as a heading. Silly problem.
Allow my custom CSS to work inside the editor (it works in an iframe which renders with its own CSS, not the one the rest of the site uses). It makes it difficult for colleagues to edit and know how it will turn out.
Lightbox for images natively implemented site-wide, not exclusively for the "images" section in the right sidebar. Pictures should be small for additional info, not taking the entire screen, but currently I have to give them a link to new window to themselves. Gallery section if necessary to group images together instead of entire page worth of images. Note this is probably not possible with nested tag issues.
Expanding/accordion sections natively supported, as stated.
Local cache store when editing (and especially submitting) documents, so that when you are signed out and try to submit or otherwise refresh your changes are not lost. Currently it will happily refresh without prompt to check your content is saved and will also submit blindly regardless of whether the submission is allowed with sign-in. These have caught me several times and all data is lost.
Better handling of drafts when multiple users edit a document. I have noted that saved changes are overwritten without warning, when a change to original document has been made since the current draft was started.
Stop silently "correcting" my HTML or reversing my change completely (I believe the latter is the case from memory) when I submit from code view. It is so bad that I copy my code elsewhere before submitting every time now. This can occur with missed closing tags or nested tags, etc. Show me an error instead of blindly accepting, submitting and forgetting. Same as 7 really.
Colour text etc using site-wide colour palette so light/dark mode work properly, don't apply direct style colour=red.
