Dynamic Naming for Assets Based on Dropdown and Variable Fields

Enable dynamic asset naming by combining a required dropdown selection with additional variable fields, instead of relying on a static name field.

Currently, asset names must be manually entered, even though they often follow a structured format.

The proposal is to:

1. Require a dropdown field as the starting point for naming (e.g., SLA, Contract, Agreement type).2. Disable the ability to revert this dropdown to a basic text name field for that asset layout.3. Automatically merge additional field values (e.g., contract number, start date) into the asset name when the         record is saved.

Example:

For an “Agreements” asset layout:

1. Dropdown: SLA, General Agreement, Contract2. Fields: Contract Number, Start Date3. Generated Name: SLA - CN12345 - 2025-05-01
