Custom user role creation for more granular permissions control
There are only 6 roles available. However, I would like to be able to break it out more granularly. For example be able to create a role that can create/update/flag documentation, but not share. Allowing custom role creations would likely satisfy a few feature quests here by getting the permissions broken down more granularly and allowing us to choose which permission get applied to the custom role.

This request is from 2021, we could really could use this feature in 2025. Please look into implementing this!

I can't believe that more people are not requesting this. We would like to get technicians the ability to share passwords in the portal but not have access to some passwords that our leadership team has. We would also like to give bulk edit permissions to users.

Allowing password / KB folder creation for an editor role would be great!

This is a dealbreaker for us. The external portal is useless for us since we have to give every employee admin access to add assets to the external portal?

I too wish the permissions were more granular. In my case I want to allow some users to import and delete assets or passwords. The way it stands Editors can build a Rack but then cannot remove an Asset that they themselves assigned to the Rack.

This also goes for the API,we need the ability to restrict the keys to specific endpoints and methods.

Roles with detailed permissions are urgently needed. We need users who can create and update global process templates, but do not have permission to delete.

It would be nice to set Asset Layouts as read only for a specific group so, that group can not edit an Asset Layout.

Yes up-vote +1. Like Keppel green Sloth says, can't even properly maintain a rack layout unless you have full admin and that doesn't allow for following least privilege setup if everyone has to be an admin.
