Credit Card Asset Layout Template

Currently, creating an asset layout from scratch forces a day to be selected for the "date" field. We want to use this for credit card expirations, could we have an option for dates to be month/year only instead of forced to select a day? Also, using the "hidden field" option gives the generate option, which we would like to not be available when entering credit card numbers. Thank you.
