Asset Properties as variables

I am recommending adding the ability to cross-reference asset properties across documents. If I can make a printer a related asset I should be able to use that asset's properties as variables in my documentation. ${assetID}.address would fill in the asset's IP for example and update whenever that asset changes. This could all be cached to reduce database impact too.
