Asset Layout List additional fields

Is it possible to add additional fields or fields created in the asset layout in the list view when you create a new asset. e.g. date created or a date field in the asset layout. As well as have a default sorting order per layout.

    You just tick the "show in list view" when editing a field for that asset layout to add your field to list view, but I too am missing created/updated and sorting by custom fields, as well as custom default sort for a given asset layout. Per user or site-wide, I'll take either at this point.
