Asset Addition - Symbolic

This request is for a new dropdown to be created under the "New Article" field for "Symbolic Document". This would work very similar to traditional symbolic links with the ability to link to an existing KB folder or article. This would ideally be implemented by your team and be a native feature of hudu so we could ensure these asset types have like a different icon shortcut / distinction and to proper pull over any description on that KB / Folder. The purpose of this is to greatly increase the cross documentation referencing at the file system level (not just asset level where we associate two KB's together). This has been a long standing feature request of mine from ITglue and I think would be a simple and huge addition to hudu.

Examples

We have a service white label M365 private cloud with custom whitelabel branding. We would like all of our Microsoft 365 documents to exist under our nice customer branded private cloud folder. We also have a folder for general Microsoft documentation about servers workstations .etc and we would love the ability to link M365 there. I have seen MSPs tackle this feature so many different ways, but i have never seen a proper symbolic / redirection function that does not rely on manually generated links or shortcuts. Using like GGUID based symbolic linking would make the shortcut always work, always have the correct name and the correct description .etc and this new KB Asset type would give more flexibility for interesting additions in the future.
