Applications - Field to track license keys and expiration dates for those that are subscription based. Provide reporting or alerting for ones that will be expiring.
This should currently be possible, unless I'm misunderstanding the request.
Custom asset fields can be added to any of the Asset Layouts. So, you'd just need to add a field type for License keys, and a "Date" field (if you want this field to populate expirations, you'd need to enable the "Add to Expirations" option)
