Allow Links in KB Articles to Open in a New Tab

Currently, links added to KB articles open within the same browser tab. This can disrupt the user's workflow, especially when navigating between multiple documents or references.

We’d like to request the ability to configure links in KB articles to open in a new browser tab, either by default or as an optional setting in the editor (e.g., a checkbox for "Open in new tab").

      Kristen W. Could you clarify why this was marked as closed? I don’t see this feature available or working in KB articles, so I’m not sure if it has already been implemented. If not, I’d like to request this be re-opened.

      Eric F. Hi Eric, you've always been able to choose if the link opens in the current or new tab, but the default selection used to be current tab. We changed the default selection to be new tab a few versions ago, since this is typically the option people wanted.
