Ability to Link Front/Rear Rack Items to IPAM Records

When adding devices to the front/rear of a rack, there should be an option to link those rack entries to the actual underlying asset, and IP address within a network (e.g. a switch, firewall, patch panel, etc.), so that if the device is replaced or renamed, the rack view automatically reflects that change.
