Relations automatically created based on asset links

As said in title.
It would be great if there was an option such as "Auto create relation" so that when the asset link is added, it also creates a relation.
... Maybe hide it from the top as the link field will create the link.
The reasoning for this is I'm still trying to figure out the best layouts for items and I'm struggling between Asset Links vs Relations - I prefer the asset link as it "part" of the asset - e.g. a bundle of parts.
Basically, I want to use asset links for one direction, but in the other, all I want is a standard relation.

Woah, thanks for the upvotes guys, but seriously?! Why...
I've had loads of ideas (like tables) which would mean people could get rid of so many Excel sheets and other things that can really benefit the platform... yet this, which was a little idea to save me 10 seconds per asset gets 7 upvotes in a few days?!
Grateful for the votes, but, I just don't understand it!!
