Abilty to show IP Addresses in Table View

Unfortunately there is no way to show IP Addresses in the Table View. Would be great if you can add this feature.

Hey Kristen, if i use IPAM then the IPs are only visible in the Related Items Area of de Asset. Would be great to get it back to the Overview Table of an Assettype. Maybe we could get the ability link an IPAM Adress to an Asset Field witch is able to be shown on the AssetTable, This would also be helpfull for Assets with more then one IP (iDRAC and Managment ...)

Gradual Vicuna: Got it, thank you!

Hi! Can you clarify which table you are referring to?

C'mon, 4 years, has visibility because someone is merging posts... is there ANYONE actually working on low-hanging fruit? This is a basic feature which should have been included before you build your "Network" core asset.
The core asset is useless to me as we do not yet have an RMM, and Hudu will still not have authority and thus it is merely a redundant dashboard for another tool which we would already need, yes?
Please double-team these features... Please!!!

For the love of god, how difficult would this be to implement... over 4 years my friends. Your built-in 'Network' feature is fancy, but useless to me. I need a rudimentary IPAM to designate subnets, and then segments of the subnet for specific categories. Nothing needs to integrate, but right now I am stuck with basic text fields which EVERYONE in the world knows are NEVER sortable unless there is intelligence.
Please stop ignoring blatantly obvious feature requests that an intern could implement in an afternoon. You need TWO teams... complex features, and low hanging fruit. Tackle this from both ends, and you can bet you are going to hear from me again.

Tiny quality of life improvement would be when using the IP address field, when you type the slash in a CIDR entry '192.168.0.1/24' it should automagically split the IP and CIDR. Currently it's a separate dropdown you need to tab to.

Native support for ip address fields and networks

To be clear, I am not expecting a full IPAM, more something lightweight, just to get a quick overview at IP level.
- It would be great if we could define existing IP networks (in CIDR format) at company level (like passwords), ideally with customizable additional fields, like vlan, gateway, dns, dhcp range, description, etc.
- A new field type for assets of type ‘IP address’ / ‘IP address list’ with an additional comment field for each address and a dropdown for network selection.
- Finally, on selecting an IP network, there should be an automatically generated asset list containing all assets with at least one IP address from the selected network.
We already have assets for networks, and use text fields for IP addresses, but it’s error prone to keep both synchronized.
PS. Of course it should work for both, IPv4 and IPv6 😊

Auto-Suggest Related Items with One-Click Confirm

If a network is defined, it already specifies the network IP address with CIDR, it should be easy to show all matching network devices and computing devices not already related to a network, as suggested as related, with a "+" button next to it, that with one click makes it a related item. This would especially be handy when many computers and network devices are being imported via integration with Domotz and similar integrations, to make it efficient to associate the imported items with networks. A similar auto-suggest mechanism can apply in similar contexts in other areas where there is sufficient information in the fields to make an educated guess that something is probably related.
