For us, the most important thing is to be able to link a photo to multiple assets. For example, if we take a picture of a server rack, we want to link it to every device that's in the photo. The other suggestions here are great as well, but linking is most important for us.

Being able to assign photos to assets from the photo gallery (bulk action or assigning a whole folder!) and being able to view photos in the gallery organized by asset are both key. Sometimes I need a picture I know came from a specific site trip (organized by photo folder or date), whereas sometimes someone who's never worked on that customer before needs to view all the photos associated with some of the sites (organized by Location asset) and the photo gallery view is much more efficient than the thumbnails on each asset.

we def need pictures to be able to be assigned to assets from the gallery instead of only allowing them to be added from the asset. in particular we need 1 picture to be related to multiple assets
