Latest update 2.43.1 has the Asset widths still fixed to a width where now the larger tables we have had for years are horizonal scrolling. But on the browser page, there is tons of room to not need the horizontal scroll bar! I think in 2.43.0, it was just clipping the content. Even seems to be 'squishing' the headers of columns in some cases.
Why does this keep changing over time with version releases? Why can this not just be dynamic to the browser size or screen resolution? The left and right column sizes seem perfectly justified in their widths, so the center should just float and take up the slack.
Much of our Assets and KBs contain screen clips and illustrations, floor plans, diagrams, we don't aim to make these huge but anything over about 800 and some odd pixels gets clipped or resized. many of our diagrams and illustrations would be better viewed larger for the details required especially on floor plans.
It looks 'silly' on my smaller monitors of 1920x1200, but my larger primary screen 2560 x 1440 it's just dumb.
I am sure I have posted this feedback and feature request along with others in the past, that the center content area of Hudu to be allowed to be wider either by minimum size with max width by percent % or just let it be a system variable that we can set to our preference.
Screenshot of my 'large' primary display to over dramatize the effect in which I am describing.
