Allow Search to search companies even if "Limit to xx" is set

The search bar at the top is neat, and I like the default is to limit search to the current company - but it is also a good way to switch between companies.
By default, it seems the Companies column is always blank if "Limit to <company>" is selected...
The other 4 columns are fine to limit, but, I feel that the company column should always be able to search all companies, no matter if limit is set.
