Requesting SSID sync support, specifically:

  • - Sync each SSID per site into a chosen asset layout, with an Asset Layouts option similar to the existing device categories

  • - Include SSID name, security type, linked network/VLAN, band, enabled status, and guest flag

  • - Optionally store the WiFi passphrase as a linked Hudu Password

  • - Relate each SSID to its network in IPAM and to the access points broadcasting it

    Adding some context from our side. We're an MSP using the UniFi OS integration across several client sites, and devices and networks are syncing well. For Wi-Fi, we've had to create a Wireless asset and a linked password by hand for every SSID at every site, and those records go out of date as soon as an SSID or key changes in UniFi. The Asset Layout sort rules only cover device types, so there's currently no way to route SSIDs anywhere.

    SSID sync would save us a lot of manual work and keep our Wi-Fi documentation accurate.
