Many MSPs rely on different PSA tools to manage tickets, SLAs, and workflows — but not all of these platforms have official integrations in Hudu.
For example, we use Request Tracker (RT), which is a solid and mature PSA system but too niche to justify a dedicated Hudu integration.
We’d like Hudu to provide a generic PSA integration framework, allowing administrators to define basic API connection settings and map limited data paths manually.
This would not aim to replace native integrations but rather to support any PSA system with an accessible API, even if unofficial.
Desired functionality
• Ability to configure a generic PSA integration profile in Hudu:• Base API URL• Authentication type (API key, Basic Auth, OAuth2, Bearer token)• Header and parameter templates• Customizable endpoints for specific data types (e.g., /tickets, /customers, /users, /assets)• Define data mappings to key Hudu entities:• Ticket → Hudu task or flag• Customer → Hudu organization• User → Hudu contact• Asset → Hudu device record• Allow custom field mappings using a simple variable syntax (e.g., {{ticket.subject}}, {{ticket.id}}, {{customer.name}}).• Optional trigger and sync rules:• One-way or two-way sync for limited objects• Automatic linking of Hudu records based on shared identifiers (e.g., email, asset name, ticket reference)• Logging and test tools to validate API connections and view responses.Benefits

This would open up Hudu to a much wider audience while keeping implementation flexible and under user control.
