Also, have all Companies based on this filter auto-create (to save the onboarding step of needing to come manually match every new customer in hudu)

Yes I agree, filter the sync by Client/Company Type is definitely needed to avoid vendors, prospects and leads type of companies from all syncing into Hudu.
