In the current N-Central integration, the Site information is imported into Hudu as part of the location data, but it isn’t actually linked to the devices themselves.
As a result, even if a device is associated with a specific site in N-Central (for example, Tampere), there is no visible indication in Hudu that the device belongs to that location.
We would like Hudu to automatically populate the device’s location field based on the Site defined in N-Central during synchronization.
For example:
• If a device in N-Central is assigned to Tampere Site, Hudu would automatically set its Location field to Tampere (matching the existing location list).• The relationship would remain dynamic — if the device is moved to a different site in N-Central, the location in Hudu updates accordingly.• This mapping could use either the site name or site ID to ensure consistency with existing location records in Hudu.This would make asset data significantly more accurate and save time, as technicians would immediately see where each device is physically or organizationally located — without needing to assign locations manually.
In short, we’re requesting that Hudu’s N-Central integration automatically link and update device locations based on Site assignments, ensuring synchronized and reliable location data across both systems.
